Event Summary: Management of midface deficiency: orthodontic and surgical aspects seminar

LNP Academy successfully hosted an advanced professional education event dedicated to contemporary approaches in the management of complex craniofacial conditions. The program featured distinguished international experts Prof. Maria Costanza Meazzini and Prof. Fabio Mazzoleni, renowned specialists in maxillofacial surgery and interdisciplinary craniofacial treatment.

Organized in collaboration with the InterCleft Foundation, the event brought together medical professionals for expert-led lectures, interdisciplinary case presentations, and interactive discussions highlighting the integration of surgical and orthodontic treatment strategies. Participants gained valuable clinical insights and practical knowledge while engaging directly with leading specialists in the field.

The event welcomed a broad professional audience and provided an excellent environment for scientific exchange and networking. Attendees praised the high academic standard, strong clinical relevance, and professional organization, confirming the program as a significant success in advanced medical education.

Event Summary: Orthognathic Surgery with Titamed smart fixation systems

An unforgettable two days in Budapest at our Cadaver Course 2025, organized by LNP Academy and hosted at Semmelweis University, in cooperation with InterCleft Foundation.

During the course, participants worked in small groups at 5 surgical tables together with internationally experienced faculty members, focusing on hands-on practice and detailed surgical guidance throughout the training.

The program covered a wide range of orthognathic and cranio-maxillofacial surgical techniques, including:
• Bilateral sagittal split osteotomy (BSSO)
• Vertical ramus osteotomy
• Genioplasty and chin-wing procedures
• Malar sandwich osteotomy

Using non-frozen cadavers provided an exceptionally realistic surgical experience, allowing participants to practice techniques in conditions closely resembling live surgery. Throughout the course, participants also had the opportunity to work with Titamed’s Smart Fixation System, including OS plates and screws designed for modern cranio-maxillofacial procedures.

Beyond the practical sessions, the event created a space for international collaboration, professional exchange, and meaningful discussions between surgeons and participants from different backgrounds and countries.

A huge thank you to our faculty, partners, Intercleft, Semmelweis University, Titamed, and every participant who contributed to the atmosphere and success of this course. We are proud to continue building high-level surgical education experiences through LNP Academy.
